The roots of the Carrillo Family are in Cuba, where Ernesto Sr. was born in 1904. After working as a tobacco buyer for many years, Ernesto Sr. launched the family cigar dynasty in 1948. en Havana. Ernesto jr started learning from his father and become in the owner after his father died. In 1990’s La Gloria Cubana enjoyed star status among Miami cigars smokers and instantly became one of the most sought out cigars in the world.
